GEM4 Summer School 2006: Registration

2006 GEM4 Summer School
Cell and Molecular Mechanics in Biomedicine
August 7-18, 2006
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Cambridge, Massachusetts USA

The first GEM4 summer school will be held in Cambridge, MA, with lectures on the MIT campus; laboratory sessions and visits to local medical research facilities and Harvard and MIT laboratories will be arranged as needed.

Faculty, researchers, and graduate students are encouraged to apply for this program that addresses the fundamentals of cell and molecular biomechanics and their applications in medicine during an intense learning experience in which engineers, biologists, and clinicians will interact. A new generation of researchers will gain in-depth knowledge of biomechanics and molecular medicine as they apply biomechanical approaches in biomolecular, cellular, tissue-level, animal-model and clinical studies.
